We Use Leading-Edge CEREC Crown Technology For Your Comfort

A DENTAL CROWN IS A CRITICAL COMPONENT IN A NUMBER OF DENTAL PROCEDURES. They are a proven, effective way to help restore your smile, preserve the integrity of your mouth’s structure, and maintain great oral health. Our practice now offers you—our valued patients—a dental crown procedure that is far more comfortable and less time consuming. It’s called the CEREC method.

CEREC Benefits From A Patient’s Point Of View

We love having the CEREC solution because our PATIENTS love it! Why? Because before, crowns were completed in multiple visits. During the first visit, after a tooth impression was taken, a dental lab made the crown while you wore a temporary crown for a couple of weeks. CEREC crowns are completed in one visit. And, they’re not only faster, but they’re beautiful and strong too.

Dr. Williams Adds…

“We always try to design our practice in a way that WE would want to visit if we were a patient. Utilizing CEREC technology is just another way for us to deliver excellent dentistry in a more comfortable and time efficient manner…visit once, numb once, no impression, no temporary, done!”

Dr. Sivie reports the kind of feedback we’ve had…

“Overwhelmingly positive! Not having to return for a second visit in several weeks, not having to wear a temporary and change your eating habits during that time and not needing to be numb for a second visit are always tops on the list. Patients are amazed by the technology and are glad we are on the leading edge of dental advancements.”

What about the materials? Dr. Williams says,

“Many of our patients ask if the materials used in CEREC dentistry are as good as “lab fabricated” cases. The materials are actually the same. The only difference is that we make the restoration instead of delegating that to a third party dental lab.”

The Procedure Is Very Straightforward

Sometimes, dental crowns are used to protect teeth that are weak, cracked, or otherwise in danger of breaking by forming a protective layer around the tooth. If a tooth has a large filling, or is already broken, or is naturally misshapen or discolored, a dental crown can also be used. Dental crowns are also used with dental bridges and dental implants to form and support other teeth in your mouth.

An infrared camera takes 3-D images of your damaged tooth and sends those images directly to our CEREC machine. Your crown is milled inside the machine right here in our office, providing us with the ability TO COMPLETE YOUR PROCEDURE THE SAME DAY! No annoying impression trays, no waiting on a lab, and no temporary crown.

During Your Next Visit…

Next time you come in, let us show you how awesome our CEREC solution is. Then, the next time you need a crown as part of any dental procedure you’ll understand the difference CEREC can make.

AS ALWAYS, THANKS FOR BEING OUR VALUED PATIENT AND FRIEND.
