V.I.P of the week Very Inspiring Patient, Mr. Pannell

OUR TEAM WOULD LIKE to introduce to you our VIP of the week, Mr.Pannell. Mr. Panell has inspired us by his special service while serving in the military. Mr. Pannell had a distinguished career as a Senior Medical Advisor Team 70, with the 5th Vietnamese Division, serving in Vietnam from 1966 through 1967.

During his Military service Mr. Pannell received several awards, one of them being a Combat Medical Badge and a Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with a Bronze Star. This is a recognition of deeds of valor or heroic conduct while in combat with the enemy. We are blessed to have men such as Mr. Pannell who put their lives at risk for our Freedom. As we all know Freedom does not come for free. Thanks to so many men like Mr. Pannell who fought and continue to fight for our Freedom.

In my spare time I search Google for friends of my youth. What a nice surprise it was to see my friend, Bobby Pannell, who I’ve known since we were 14 years old, but haven’t seen in many many years—-since the mid-fifties. It makes me proud to count him as a friend – what a fine and admirable man he is, an American hero!

I tried to copy the picture and text for my scrapbook, but alas and alack, couldn’t do it. Ah well.

Please give him a hug and a hello for me.
